Two smiling students wearing bright orange shirts stand together in a colorful classroom with educational posters on the wall behind them.

Every year on September 30, Solomon Schechter Academy students and staff join people across Canada to participate in Orange Shirt Day, to recognize and raise awareness about the history and legacies of the residential school system in Canada. In class, students learn about and discuss this important part of our shared history. On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we raise our voices in unison: "Every Child Matters"!
