At SSA, our Grade 1 students develop their reading, speaking, and comprehension skills through innovative tools aligned with our focus on French oral communication. Using the 'Toobaloo,' they listen to their own voice as they read, helping them improve fluency, pronunciation, and understanding. To further support their learning, reading rings are used to isolate words, enhancing concentration and making it easier for young readers to stay focused. Thank you Bronfman Jewish Education Centre of Federation CJA for supporting our work using the Response To Intervention model (RTI).
